The Center’s Juneteenth Block Party is a celebration of Black liberation, legacy, and joy. As we honor the historical significance of Juneteenth—the day enslaved people in Texas were finally informed of their freedom—we
uplift the resilience and cultural contributions of Black communities. This intergenerational celebration will
include live performances, spoken word, DJs, Black-owned vendors, food, and community engagement. It is
both a remembrance and a reaffirmation: that Black freedom, creativity, and community continue to thrive. All
