THE MARCH
26th St & 5th Ave.
15th St & 7th Ave.
The inaugural NYC Pride March took place in 1970, commemorating the one year anniversary
of the Stonewall Uprising. It has since evolved into one of the largest LGBTQIA+ rights
demonstrations in the world - and a powerful global symbol of LGBTQIA+ resilience, unity,
and activism.
This year, as we reflect on the Pride movement’s roots in protest, we invite our community
and allies to join us as we march in defiant celebration, advocacy, and solidarity.
If you can’t join us in person, tune in to the NYC Pride March Broadcast on WABC-7 and
abc7ny.com for up-close looks at floats and marching contingents, exclusive performances,
and intimate interviews with our city’s queer trailblazers.
Insider tip: millions of spectators take to the streets to witness our iconic Pride March, but you can
feel like a VIP with our Grandstand Experience. The Grandstand offers an unmatched Pride March
viewing spot, with comfortable stadium-style seating, premium amenities, live entertainment,
complimentary food and beverages, and more. The best part? Your ticket helps keep NYC Pride
events free and accessible to the entire LGBTQIA+ community. Purchase your tickets here
